Is this you?

You have an eye for detail, a desire for excellence. Are you good at measuring? Do you love to see a finished product?
Maybe you have experience in a commercial kitchen? Or you have a curious mind for science?
You’re all about the details. You like to work efficiently and accurately. You have an eye for the big picture and prioritize the details and get them right. No one has to check your work.
We are located in Sackville, NB, a small town that attracts the most amazing people, and the prettiest birds. We are biased — but we are pretty sure we are the coolest place to work for, ever. And we really believe that we are changing the world with our skin care products that support comfort in pregnancy, postpartum, and every day (you will see what we mean when you check out our website!). This job isn’t all unicorns and rainbows, there’s some not-so-good stuff, and some good stuff:
Let’s start with the not-so-good stuff:
This is an in-person position. We need you to be here between 9 am – 5 pm each day.
Certain work tasks are repetitive and requires you to be on your feet. Maybe this is a dream come true for you, if so, that’s great.
We are working masked full-time except while eating to protect ourselves and each other. We know public health restrictions have lifted, but we will assess and decide as a team when everyone feels comfortable to unmask.
Now let’s talk about the good stuff:
This is a summer position supported by Canada Summer Jobs and is open to youth between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period.
Must be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of employment, and have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations .
The work is dynamic and fun. We are a small but mighty team and sometimes, we’re a little silly.
We aren’t big on stress. So, while we will expect you to work efficiently and get things done, we focus on open communication, planning, and getting things done right the first go around.
You will experience things, learn, grow, and make decisions on things that no big stuffy company would ever allow you to do.
We are a team that truly cares about each other, our community, and our customers.
When you have questions, you will find the answers in videos we have prepared to help you, forms that standardize our processes, or a quick chat with anyone else on our team.
Let’s talk about the job requirements:
You need to be the type person who gets joy out of getting things done. Important stuff. Necessary stuff, sometimes physically demanding stuff.
You will be standing a lot. This job requires physical stamina and attention to detail. You play a key role in delivering quality skin care products to our customers.
You need to be a person who loves to deliver remarkable experiences to other people. You know, you need to be someone who feels good by making other people feel good.
You need to nail down the details. You don’t need to race through work and get things done half way (we figured that one out ourselves). We need you to slow things down and get them done right.
We want you to be meticulous in your work. If you are shy or quiet, that is totally cool. We are not looking for the life of the party…in fact, quite the opposite. We are looking for a good, fun person, who loves to check things off their to do list.
You’ll need to be able to lift 25 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds from time to time.
Some specific things you’ll get to do:
Your job is to follow standardized recipes and create perfectly presented skin care products. That means accurately identifying, measuring, blending ingredients. It is also filling, pouring, labeling, capping and boxing finished products. You’ll maintain a clean, organized and sanitized work environment and wash the dishes when you’re done.
We have a casual work environment. We don’t expect perfection, but we do expect professionalism, punctuality, courteousness and communication. We expect intelligence, energy, and a get it done attitude.
If this is a job that gets you so excited that you would even do it for free, we would totally accept that offer from you. But if you prefer compensation (and we totally get it…we prefer getting paid as well) this is what we offer: This is a full-time in person skin care product-making job. The pay is $14 an hour at 30 hours per week.
In addition to being a detailed person, you must follow systems and processes. In fact, just to prove that you are detailed oriented and can follow procedures, when you apply for this position address your cover letter to April MacKinnon use the secret sentence in the last field of the application – it must include our brand promise: “Anointment: the self-care skin care”. That’s our little trick to sort out the people who blanket send their resume to anyone and everyone, from the folks (that’s you) who are truly interested in this position.
We are looking to bring our new colleague on board as soon as possible, but we will spend the necessary time to find the best fit both in abilities and culturally. One thing that will give you a BIG leg up (but is optional) is to send a quick video in along with your resume. In your video tell us why you think you’re perfect for this job and why you will rock this position. This is purely for us to get a sense of your personality. And if you decide not to send a video (that’s ok), please tell us why you chose not to send in a video. We can’t wait to meet you!!!
Please apply using the form below prior to Friday, May 13.
